Writing this paragraph was surprisingly challenging for me because it made me realize that I
don't know a lot about myself. I think it's safe to say that I am still in the process of
"finding myself". However, there are some things I do know about myself. I have an unwavering
love for listening to music, it's something I do every day without fail.
I consider myself an
open person, or at least I strive to be. I find equal joy in both indoor and outdoor activities.
Without a doubt, my family holds the utmost importance in my life. I have a deep-seated love for
learning and the thrill of discovering new facts of myself. Interestingly, I'm drawn to
challenges, even though they often bring me significant anxiety.
I grew up in a place called Daveyton, where I lived with my parents and two siblings. Growing up, I thought it was a wonderful place, but as I grew older, I started to notice all the negative aspects of living in a township. Consequently, I began spending most of my days indoors, trying to protect myself from the toxicity of the area.
I applied to be a part of Whakatau because ever since the tenth grade, I've been oddly fascinated
by computers and how they work (even though I didn't know anything about coding). So, I thought that Whakatau
would be a perfect fit for me because I have a strong interest in learning about computers, and I believe that
we can make a significant impact on the world through an app or website.
Being a part of the Whakatau
team has been an incredible experience so far because it has given me the opportunity to pursue my passion. My
colleagues are genuinely amazing people, and I enjoy working with them. Together, I believe we can achieve great
things.
